Creating impact all over the world every year , EVTEKS took place for the 23rd time at CNR EXPO, between the 16th – 20th of May, 2017. The fair was organized with the participation of over 2 thousand local & international brands and over 130 thousand visitors.
Offering leading fashion trends and innovations in the home textile industry, 23rd Istanbul Home Textile Fair (EVTEKS) was held at CNR EXPO. Organized by CNR Holding with the cooperation of Turkish Home Textile Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association, (TETSIAD) EVTEKS took place between the May, 16th – 20th, 2017.

B2B Matchmaking Programme, including participating companies with buyer delegations including over 300 professionals from over 20 countries such as Russia, Georgia, Serbia, Croatia, Romania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Lebanon, Morocco, Jordan, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Gulf countries, have been carried out with huge participation. In addition, buyer delegations from 48 countries attended as official invitees of the T.R. Ministry of Economy.

EVTEKS hosted over 2 thousand local & international home textile brands including international exhibitors from Spain, Italy, France, Greece, China, Portugal, Morocco, Austria, Germany, Macedonia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Indonesia, India, Egypt, Holland, Bulgaria and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Over 130 thousand visitors from 120 countries
The biggest platform for the Turkey’s leading light of home textile industry, EVTEKS welcomed over 130 thousand national & international industry professionals from 120 countries, Germany, Greece, Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Iran, Italy, Saudi Arabia among them. From tulle to curtain systems, bathroom products to sleep set, coverings to kitchen and dining room textiles, 160 thousand square-meters of exhibition area became showcase of EVTEKS’ huge range of products.

Trends to steer 2018’s home textile
A special area within the fair called Dizaynist hosted world-famous pattern studios from Holland, France, Portugal and England. Home textile trends of 2018 were exhibited by Saudemont Designs (FR), Telas Design (PT) and Teceland (PT) at the EVTEKS designers area. Meanwhile, designers from France, Finland, Denmark, Portugal and Italy showcased their designs together with Turkish home textile designers for 4 days during 20 different sessions within “Design Seminars by EVTEKS” programme.

Chief Designer of Nelly Rodi, Vincent Gregorie mentioned about trends of next year and referred “Positivity, warmth and happiness will be main motivation of home textile and decoration in 2018.”

”We will see breezes from nature, mixture of silver colours, faded yellows & blues & oranges with seeds, spices, lawns in Spring-Summer Season. Longing for green of the people who lives in cities will shape Autumn-Winter Season of home textile. Dark greens and woody grays will be the mainstream. Vincent stated that hometextile industry will focus on pomegranate next year. Also patterns like tiger, lotus, gold and the objects that bring luck and wealth will be commonly in use durieng 2018 trends.
