SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC GETS GREEN BUILDINGS PRODUCTS CERTIFICATE
Schneider Electric announced that the company’s Altivar 212 and Altivar 61 variable speed drives ( VSD) have been conferred tha Green Building Council.

The certificate establishes both Altivar 212 and Altivar 61 as certified energy efficient products, which will assist building and facilities managers in their application for Green Mark Certification in Singapore.

These features include an itegrated EMC filter, which allows for a more compact size and simplified wiring, reducing equipment costs while optimizing performance. Both drives are able to adjust motor speeds to the required flow of air or fluids, saving energy in the process. Also engineered to provide additional cost savings, the drives come with electronic motor controls that reduce the mechanical stress on belts, piping and ductwork and eliminate valve or inlet guide have maintenance.
